Edwin Muir

A memorial bench was erected in 1962 to Muir in the idyllic village of Swanston, Edinburgh, where he spent time during the 1950s.

Robert Louis Stevenson spent several summers here in the 1870s, as a result of his father taking out a lease for Swanston Cottage (on a spur road to the NW of the village) from 1867 to 1880.


Landy Field, Geelong

John Landy Field Recreation Reserve is situated at the corner of Swanston Street and Barwon Terrace, South Geelong and was formerly known as Riverside Reserve.
