135th meridian east, a line of longitude east of the Greenwich Meridian
In 1788, Governor Phillip claimed the continent of Australia only as far west as the 135th meridian east longitude (135° east) in accordance with his commission.
Early on December 15, the system crossed west of 135°E and entered the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's (PAGASA) area of responsibility.
