Sports cartoonist Willard Mullin drew an illustration of a happy Larsen painting a canvas titled The Perfect Game, observed by Mullin's classic "Brooklyn Bum."

The first inning of the telecast is still considered lost and was not aired by the MLB Network or included in a subsequent DVD release of the game.

Jim Gilliam

In the 1956 World Series, he walked with one out in the tenth inning of Game 6 and scored on a single by Robinson to give the Dodgers a 1–0 victory, tying the Series; in Game 5 he had struck out and grounded out twice in the perfect game pitched by the Yankees' Don Larsen.

New York Yankees Museum

The centerpiece of the museum is a tribute to Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series, with a commemorative home plate in the floor and statues of Larsen pitching to Yogi Berra.

Tom Sturdivant

He was a sixteen-game winner in each of the next two campaigns, starting a World Series game in each year, and pitching a complete game to defeat the Brooklyn Dodgers 6-2 in Game 4 of the 1956 World Series (the game before Don Larsen's perfect game).
