206th Combat Communications Squadron (206 CBCS), an Air National Guard combat communications unit located at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska
On approximately 1 November 2004 the 1–206th FA was ordered by 39th BCT to resume responsibility for AO Ghost, the area of operations assigned to 2–7 CAV due to that unit's impending tasking to take part in Operation Al-Fajr, Second Battle of Fallujah, Iraq.
