Enigma's management subsequently stated that a new version would be included on the album, while the lead single off the album proper would be "Goodbye Milky Way".

The first track from the album to be made public was "Hello and Welcome," released as a stand-alone single in 2006.
The new single, "Hello and Welcome" (from the unreleased 6th album A Posteriori) and The Dusted Variations disc also received mixed responses from the fans, who questioned the release of the album.
In "The Story of the World Cup", Brian Glanville wrote: "In retrospect, to be eliminated by so fine a side as Poland seems no disgrace, but this is a posteriori reasoning. I doubt if England could have made so dazzling a contribution as Poland to the tournament, yet it should be remembered that the Poland which beat England and the Poland which took their place were two very different propositions".
