Dimitris Kolovos

At the beginning of 2012/13 season under the coaching of Dimitrios Eleftheropoulos became a full time member of the team, ensuring the interest of the Italian club Bologna, as well as the interest of the greek giants AEK and PAOK.

His impressive performances convinced former AEK Athens coach Manolo Jimenez and earned him a spot in the starting line-up forcing David Mateos on the bench who joined AEK Athens on loan from Real Madrid.

Manolas was a key figure for AEK Athens in the season 2010-11, playing very impressive performances in the Superleague Greece but also in the Europa League which drew interest to many European teams such as Genoa, Udinese, Getafe and Schalke.

Manuel Jiménez

Manuel Jiménez Jiménez (born 1964), Spanish footballer selected for the 1990 FIFA World Cup, and coach of AEK Athens F.C.

Martin Albano Pautasso

On the 30th April 2007, Pautasso was released from AEK Athens as he did not manage to convince his manager Lorenzo Serra Ferrer of his ability.

Nestoras Mitidis

In the 2010–11 season, Ton Caanen established Mitidis as a regular first team player, and on November 13, 2010, he scored his first senior goal of his career, with a fantastic shot on 85th minute against Ermis Aradippou, which gave the victory to AEK Larnaca.

Nikos Goumas Stadium

On October 2, 2013 the AEK Athens board, under Dimitris Melissanidis, presented plans of the new stadium to the municipality of Nea Filadelfeia, in order to gain permission to build.

Pantelis Kafes

The following season on 12 January 2008 Kafes scored his first goal for AEK against Veria.

Paschalis Voutsias

He debuted for the club in a match against AEK on 13 September 2010, coming in as a substitute for Javier Martos in the 70th minute of the game.

Sokratis Tsoukalas

Although AEK Athens was relegated to the 3rd Division in order the team's debt to be erased, Tsoukalas was agreed to stay and help AEK for the big comeback to Greek Superleague alongside Kostas Tsoupros, Anastasios Tsoumagas, Dimitris Anakoglou, Miguel Cordero, Dimitris Grontis and Michalis Pavlis

Taxiarchis Fountas

Fountas scored his first goal for the club in a 1-0 win against Platanias on 28 October 2012, thus becoming the youngest player to score for AEK at the age of 17 years and 54 days.He scored another goal against Veria FC on 18 October 2012 and another one against PAS Giannina F.C. on 3 November 2012.

Thomas Mavros

A notable moment was when during a match against AEK Athens in Nikos Goumas Stadium on 28 October 1989 he scored against them but the AEK Athens fans chanted his name as if he had just scored for AEK Athens showing how much they loved and respected him.

Triantafyllos Machairidis

He was also an integral part of the AEK side who won the 1996–97 Greek Cup.
