Abdul Azim al-Deeb (1929-2010), Egyptian professor of jurisprudence at Qatar University

Abdul Azim al-Deeb

Born in Gharbia, Egypt, he was educated in the Al-Azhar primary and secondary schools, and enrolled in the ranks of the Muslim Brotherhood.


Bab al-Huta

It is home to the Dom Romani community of the Old City, known in Arabic as al-Nawar, led by mukhtar Abed-Alhakim Mohammed Deeb Salim.

Mahdi Abu Deeb

On 20 March, his father's house in A'ali was raided by 30 security officers after midnight; forcing his brother-in-law to guide them to Deeb's house.

Deeb was first held in Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) in Adliya, then moved to Asri prison, then to Al Qurain military prison and finally to Juw prison.
