Among the notable tracks on the album are "Bury Me a G," "Cradle to the Grave," "Pour Out a Little Liquor" (which also appears in the soundtrack to the 1994 film Above the Rim), "How Long Will They Mourn Me?" and "Str8 Ballin'."

Martin started his film career as an actor taking roles in a number of films and TV series under the name Frank Martin, notably in Above the Rim where he befirended Tupac Shakur.
He worked in character roles on episodic television in New York, and his first film role came opposite Tupac Shakur in Above the Rim.
