KBTE

Before the station acquired the urban contemporary format, KBTE was an active rock station as "The Bat"; however the station began stunting with loops of The Go-Go's 1980s song We Got The Beat before the launch of The Beat.

KCFX-HD2

It played mostly newer Active rock artists/bands such as Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Metallica and more, without playing a lot of classic hard rock, most likely due to sister station KCFX playing that music.

KDJE

However, in 2009, the station began incorporating classic heavy metal music by bands such as: Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe, and also Led Zeppelin and AC/DC into their typical active rock format.

On October 28, 2011, Rock 101 evolved into a full blown active rock station; playing the latest from Five Finger Death Punch, Pop Evil, Seether, and other active rock artists.

WSHH

By 2012, WSHH became Pittsburgh's last remaining AC, making it the first time in a long time Pittsburgh went down to only one AC station after its rimshot rival WLER-FM flipped to active rock.

WZOR

The station is licensed to the Manitowoc County community of Mishicot, Wisconsin, and airs an active rock music format as "Razor 94-7." The station launched in 1994, and previously aired adult contemporary and classic country formats before being sold to current owner Woodward Communications, who launched "Razor 94-7" in 2000.
