Stacey entered public life by seeking a seat on the Bath Charter Township Board of Trustees in 2004.

He returned to Michigan to pursue his collegiate education receiving a bachelor's degree in political science and a degree from the Honors College at Michigan State University in 1996.

He believed that a carte blance approach that treated large scale machinery driven businesses equally with home based occupations could legalize industrial operations that would damage homeowners' property values in the rural areas north of Interstate Highway 69.

Stacey also fought against and helped defeat an attempt to rezone the entire northern half of Bath Township into a de facto business district by grandfathering in existing non-conforming business operations.

He is an elected member of the Clinton County Board of Commissioners representing the 7th District, which are the communities of Bath Charter Township, Victor Township and Olive Township.

He has also written many technical books, including the best-selling Internet Starter Kit series in the 1990s, books on Eudora and iPhoto, and magazine articles for MacUser, MacWEEK, and Macworld.
Thea, as she is known artistically, has performed in many parts of the United States and Europe, and has opened for artists such as Richie Havens, Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary, Karen Taylor-Good, and R. Carlos Nakai.

Her work is influenced by her youth, which she spent at the Musa Isle Indian Village, a traditional Seminole Indian village on the Miami River in South Florida where she was adopted and raised.
The Taylors had a daughter Tiffany and three sons, Adam Carlyle Taylor (1966–1994), Matthew Taylor (born 1970), and Cooper Taylor (born 1975).
Meaney has been involved in a number of television programs including Ned & Stacey, Dr. Katz, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Garfield and Friends, Rocko's Modern Life, London Underground, and Duckman.
Following her stint on Saved by the Bell, Creel had guest roles on One West Waikiki and Ned & Stacey.
In a January 2009 Macworld feature commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Macintosh, three industry commentators – Adam C. Engst of TidBITS, John Gruber of Daring Fireball, and John Siracusa of Ars Technica – chose the SE/30 as their favorite Mac model of all time.
For two seasons (1995–1997), she starred as Amanda Moyer in the Fox TV sitcom Ned & Stacey.
