On September 20, 2013, at Noon, after playing "This Is What It Feels Like" by Armin van Buuren, CFLZ shifted its brand to the current 2Day FM 105.1/101.1, and began simulcasting on sister station CJED-FM, who dropped their adult hits format the previous day for a Christmas music stunt in anticipation of a new format.
Rawlco, however, describes CIUP-FM as a classic hits station, but remains an adult hits station because of fewer currents/recurrents at the station alongside 1990s & 2000s songs there.
After seven years of mediocre ratings against the dominant adult contemporary station, WTCB, the station flipped on August 16, 2005 to variety hits as "Steve FM" (rumored to be named for then-new University Of South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier, even though he is affiliated with WISW.).

On May 21, 2009, Bonneville blew up alternative rocker WSWD and flipped the station back to country, moving the format from its 94.9 sister station, which flipped to 80s-leaning adult hits as Rewind 94.9.
However, since the flip of rival KKBA to adult hits in June 2011, KAJE changed entirely to a classic hits format, mainly due to no post-2000 songs at the station.

On April 18, 2012, after playing "Best of My Love" by The Emotions, and before going into "Unbelievable" by EMF, WJGH changed its format to adult hits, going under the Jack FM brand.
