Svetopolk Pivko

Svetopolk Pivko (Serbian Cyrillic: Светополк Пивко) (Maribor, Austria-Hungary, September 29, 1910 - Belgrade, Yugoslavia, October 13, 1987) was an engineer and professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade, was a colonel of the Yugoslav Air Force deputy commander of JRV, the founder and the first director of the Aeronautical Technical Institute in Žarkovo.

During this period, he initiated the establishments of the Aeronautical Institute FPRY, while in 1947 S. Pivko, PhD, was appointed the first director of the institute.


Soko J-20 Kraguj

The J-20 Kraguj (Sparrowhawk) is light military, single-engine, low-wing single-seat aircraft with a metal airframe, capable of performing close air support, counter insurgency (COIN), and reconnaissance missions, that was designed by VTI and manufactured by SOKO of Yugoslavia, first flown in 1962.
