Frieberg is most notable for appearing on the cover of Clairol's shampoo-conditioner Great Body, appearing in many different magazine covers for Glamour, Mademoiselle, Good Housekeeping, Vogue, and Harper's Bazaar among others, and also being declared by Glamour to be one of the first supermodels.

After breaking up with Jack, Frieberg briefly dated famous Pop art Artist Andy Warhol who made her the subject of several of his photographs.
