In December 2010, Lotpot had tied up with Ajay Devgan's animation film for children Toonpoor Ka Superhero and has come out with six special editions of the Lotpot.

He is perhaps best known for his family-oriented action drama films, in which he often cast actors such as Mithun Chakraborty and Jagdeep throughout the late 1970s and 1980s in films such as Tarana (1979) and Ustadi Ustad Se (1982) and Ajay Devgan in the leading role in films such as Ek Hi Raasta in 1993.
In 2005, this movie was remade in Hindi by the same director as Zameer: The Fire Within starring Ajay Devgan, Ameesha Patel and Mahima Chaudhry.
Thus, while her own film career was hardly scintillating, Rattan Bai was to be known as the matriarch of a large and celebrated film family which includes Shobhna Samarth, Nalini Jaywant, Nutan, Tanuja, Mohnish Behl, Kajol, as also Shomu Mukherjee (husband of Tanuja) and Ajay Devgan (husband of Kajol).
However his 1991 romantic film Kurbaan starring Salman Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Sunil Dutt and Kabir Bedi was a Superhit and Parwana in 2003, his last film in which once again cast Ajay Devgan as the leading actor.
It was also a blockbuster in 1995 and Ajay Devgan was nominated for best actor at Filmfare for his role in this film.
