1967 Canadian Grand Prix

Having already changed his battery on the grid, losing six laps, Al Pease spun and stalled out on the circuit during the race, and suffered another flat battery.

1969 Canadian Grand Prix

In this race, Al Pease became the only driver in F1 history to be black flagged for being too slow.

1969 Formula One season

At the same race, Canadian driver Al Pease made history by being the first driver disqualified from a World Championship event for being too slow.
