Alexandrina Council is a local government area covering the north east portion of Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia
Coutanche was born in Saint Saviour, Jersey; the younger son and third child to Adolphus Arnold Coutanche (1856–1921) and Jane Alexandrina Finlayson (d. 1909).
In June 1938, based on the request of Father Mariano Pinho, a jesuit priest, several bishops from Portugal wrote to Pope Pius XI, asking him to consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, based on the reported messages received directly from Jesus and Virgin Mary by Alexandrina Maria da Costa.

Lord Allendale married Lady Alexandrina Vane-Tempest, daughter of George Vane-Tempest, 5th Marquess of Londonderry, on 12 November 1889.
In 1894, he also married Lady Victoria Alexandrina, youngest daughter of the 1st Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, by whom he was to have eight children.
