In 1993, the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft) series was won by Nicola Larini with an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti.

The British Touring Car Championship was won in 1983 by Andy Rouse driving with Alfa Romeo GTV6 and again in 1994 by Gabriele Tarquini with Alfa Romeo 155.


1933 Belgian Grand Prix

Tazio Nuvolari, part of Scuderia Ferrari, the works Alfa Romeo team, was unhappy at how his team had been preparing his car, and so decided to try out a Maserati 8CM as well as his usual Alfa Romeo Monza during practice.

Consalvo Sanesi

Consalvo Sanesi (28 March 1911, Terranuova Bracciolini, Arezzo – 28 July 1998, Milan) was best known as the Alfa Romeo works' test driver in the period following World War II, but he also competed in five Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on September 3, 1950.
