Ali Khalif Galaydh

In September, 2002 Galaydh was a professor at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota until June, 2007.

Starting in September 1999, Galaydh participated in the Somalia National Peace Conference (SNPC) in Arta, Djibouti.

Between 1982 and 1987 Galaydh was a fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and a fellow for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University.

The event brought together, for the first time after the collapse of Somali Government in 1991, a large number of politically diverse politicians such as former Somali Prime Minister Ali Khalif Galaydh, the President and the Vice-President of Puntland, and the 2nd Deputy Speaker of the Somaliland House of Representatives.
