Hominid appears as a playable character in the XBLA version of Team Meat's Super Meat Boy, another game that originated as a flash game on Newgrounds.
•
Alien Hominid began as a flash game developed by programmer Tom Fulp and animator Dan Paladin, which was released on Newgrounds in August 2002.
He collaborated with Newgrounds creator Tom Fulp and designed Flash-based games: Sack Smash 2001, Chainsaw the Children, Dad n' Me, and, most notably, Alien Hominid.
•
Paladin designed the critically acclaimed remake of Alien Hominid and fighting game Castle Crashers, with his 2D style becoming signature for these games.
