1963 World Ice Hockey Championships

It would be the last time that an Allan Cup champion would be selected to represent Canada.


1909 Allan Cup

The Ottawa Cliffsides won the IAHU championship, surpassing the Montreal Victorias with a 5-1-0 record (Montreal was 4-2-0) to win the league title and be awarded the Allan Cup on March 6, 1909.

1954–55 WIHL season

The Penticton V's, despite the fact they had just won the Allan Cup and the 1955 World Ice Hockey Championships, were having oxygen pumped to them, in order to survive their money crisis.

Dave Kerr

He played amateur hockey before joining the NHL, winning the Allan Cup in 1930 with the Montreal AAA senior men's team.

Simon Nolet

His 1964 team, the Windsor Maple Leafs (of Windsor, Nova Scotia), reached the Allan Cup finals, led by Nolet, who scored 68 goals in 68 games and added ten goals in the Cup playoffs.
