Ceol Aduaidh is the first (studio) album by Frankie Kennedy and Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (who would go on to found the Irish band Altan), originally released in 1983 on the Gael-Linn Records label.
Matt Molloy of The Chieftains led the communion with a slow air; Altan members Daithí Sproule, Paul Kelly, Dermot Byrne, Ciaran Curran and Ciaran Tourish blended with mazurkas from fiddler John Doherty, and Paddy Glackin and Dónal Lunny concluded on fiddle and synthesizer playing "Paddy's Rambles in the Park".
Among the many theatrical works, he interpreted Cuori pazzi (Crazy Hearts) by F.T Altan (2000), Il libertino (The Libertine) by E.E. Schmitt together with Ottavia Piccolo (2001) where he is the first Italian man playing naked, Corto Maltese from scripts by Hugo Pratt and music by Paolo Conte.
Altan's version of the song appears on their 1997 album Runaway Sunday.
The most famous ruler of Khotogoids probably was Ubashi Huang Taizi also known as Altan Khan of Khotogoid (not to be confused with Altan Khan of Tumed) who was successful in subjecting Yenissei Kyrgyz and pushing Oirats out of their domains in western Mongolia.
