The following year, 1967–1968, Morrow was a foreign exchange student under the auspices of the American Field Service, completing his final year of high school at a Liceo Scientifico in Cuneo, Italy.
During World War II he joined the American Field Service, serving with the French Army in the ambulance corp., and he participated in the campaign that liberated France.
From 1978 to 1979 she participated in AFS youth exchange and attended Huntington High School in Huntington on Long Island, Suffolk County, New York for one year.
After finishing high school at the New Berlin High School in Wisconsin on a one year American Field Service (AFS) scholarship, he completed a Bachelor of Economics (first class honours and top of class) and PhD in Economics, both on scholarship at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
While at Dharmapala Vidyalaya she won the American Field Service Scholarship which allowed her to study in the USA at Canyon del Oro High School Tucson, Arizona spending a year as an exchange student.
He then attended High School in Pekalongan, Central Java, and then Whitefish Bay High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on a scholarship from American Field Service International.
