3 unusual facts about Andrews Avenue

Andrews Avenue

From the roundabout across from the Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum, the avenue continues along the southern side of Newport City, a mixed-use development facing the NAIA Terminal 3.

In Pasay, the longest portion has been renamed to Andrews Avenue, after Col. Edwin Buencamino Andrews, the first chief of the Philippine Air Force.

It runs for approximately 900 meters beneath the short NAIA Expressway of the Manila Skyway as it heads southwesterly across the Villamor Air Base and Villamor Golf Course toward Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

Lawton Avenue

West of the Nichols interchange, Lawton continues as Sales Road and Andrews Avenue heading to the Villamor Air Base and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminals.
