Conch, Caribbean lobster (Metanephrops binghami), and many fishes can be found near Anegada, particularly in the deep waters off the North Drop to the north of the island.
The Anegada ground iguana has also been successfully bred in captivity at the San Diego Zoo and the Fort Worth Zoo.
There is also the "Iguana Headstart Facility", a breeding farm for iguanas, mainly the Anegada Ground Iguana (or Anegada rock iguana, "Cyclura pinguis").
