1987 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season

Angelo Mosca was elected into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame as a player on, May 2, 1987.

He was traded to the Ottawa Rough Riders for Hardiman Cureton on August 15, 1960, and played for the Rough Riders in 1960 and 1961 before joining the Montreal Alouettes in 1962.

Mosca attended the University of Notre Dame and was drafted by the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles in 1959 in the 30th round (350th overall.) He had already decided to play in the CFL, in 1958 for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Hardiman Cureton

Cureton was traded to Hamilton by Ottawa on August 15, 1960 for Angelo Mosca.

Willie Fleming

During the 1963 Grey Cup game, Fleming was involved in a widely discussed and controversial play as he was hit by Ti-Cat defensive lineman Angelo Mosca, while Fleming was out of bounds, resulting in Fleming's absence from the remainder of the game (and a trip to the hospital).
