The hour-long news program started in 1975 with Roger Climpson presenting, with a number of high-profile presenters since, including Clive Robertson, Vincent Smith, Paul Lyneham, Kerry O'Brien, Don Willesee, Helen Wellings, Richard Zachariah and Ann Sanders.

She was also involved in Federal and State election coverages and the Sydney Olympics in 2000 for Seven News.

Sanders started presenting the weeknight edition of Seven News Sydney in February 1995, before being joined by Ross Symonds in 1998 until she moved to weekends in 2004.

Sanders is currently the presenter of Seven Morning News and she also presents hourly news updates through The Morning Show with Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur.

Sanders is a regular fill in presenter on Seven Afternoon News and she has also filled in for Natalie Barr on Sunrise.

Sanders joined the national morning news program 11AM in 1990 and travelled to Chernobyl, reporting on the radiation fall-out disaster.

Ann was in Thredbo at the scene of the landslide disaster in 1997 and collected a Logie Award on behalf of the Seven News team for coverage of the event.

Ross Symonds

He was paired with Ann Sanders on both Seven Nightly News and Seven's news program 11AM, on which he was the featured news reader for much of the program's life.
