Anshi Balapan (Әнші Балапан) is a Kazakh national televised talent search for children as young as 15, it was started in 1990 and is a precursor to the popular worldwide Idols spin off SuperStar KZ.

In 1991 Madina was part of national singing project for young children called Anshi Balapan & participated in a similar competition called Muzikalniy Voyazh where she won twice in 1996 & 1996 in Qyzylorda & Almaty respectively.
