Issam Abu Jamra (born 6 February 1937) is a retired Lebanese major general and a politician, who served as deputy prime minister in the cabinets of Michel Aoun and Fouad Siniora.
In Beqaa, the Resistance and Development Bloc won 11 seats, the Hariri List eight, and the Aoun Alliance four.
In 1989 a year of political turmoil, she covered Lebanon, Beyrouth with journalist Marc Hoogsteyns during the last days of Aoun.
In his lifetime, Bishop Aoun was awarded the French Legion of Honor and the Ottoman Empire's military order of Medjidjie (Nishan-i-Majidia).
