Investigators raided the home in Archbald and district office in Peckville of Senator Mellow as well as searching the home of a former aide, Gabriel J. Giordano, on June 22, 2010.
East Jermyn is a small section of Jermyn, Pennsylvania east of the Lackawanna River and west of the Nebraska section of Archbald, Pennsylvania commonly referred to as "The Lane"
Succeeding John B. Jervis, Archbald served as the general superintendent of the Delaware and Hudson Canal Company (D&H) from 1829 to 1854.
After an investigation by Wrisley Brown, Archbald was impeached by the United States House of Representatives on 13 Articles by a vote of 223 to 1 on July 13, 1912.
