From 1583 to his death he was also superintendent at Herlufsholm School, the first Danish boarding school.
According to the Danish historian Arild Huitfeldt in 1595, Truid Ulfstand then brought the Bishop of Stavanger to Copenhagen as a prisoner in 1537.
