Arlberg Railway Tunnel

It starts kilometre 99.5 in the station of St. Anton am Arlberg and ends in Langen am Arlberg.

Arlberg-Kandahar

The latter is named after the British military commander Frederick Roberts, Earl of Kandahar, the major benefactor of the club.

Weißenbach am Lech

The Romans used to have an important salt trading route from Hall in Tirol to the Lake Constance, which mainly was used until the train was built through the Arlberg in the early 20th century.

With good visibility, the view from the summit reaches from the Allgäu and Lech valley Alps in the east, over to the Bregenz Forest, the steep mountain peaks of Arlberg region, Silvretta, and the Rätikon to the Swiss mountains and the foothills of the Black Forest in the west.

Examples from this period include the Confin Cross in St. Valentin on the Mals Heath, which also acted as a boundary marker, or crosses on the Arlberg, the Gardena Pass or Birnlücke.
