Arlene Wohlgemuth, U.S. politician, was the Republican nominee for the 17th Congressional District of Texas in 2004.

Wohlgemuth served as a Representative from District 58 in the Texas House of Representatives in the Seventy-fourth through Seventy-eighth Texas Legislatures representing Bosque and Johnson counties in north central Texas.

She gained some attention in state politics in 1997 for what became known as the "Memorial Day Massacre." She raised a point of order that killed 52 proposed bills by preventing them from even coming up for a vote before the end of the legislative session.
