Arlon

The Maitrank (German for "drink of May") is the city's most popular refreshment.

It is made of white wine in which a local flower, the Asperula odorata, has macerated.

Formed in 1813, ContiGroup Companies, Inc (CGC) was originally founded by Simon Fribourg in Arlon, Belgium, as a grain-trading firm.

Jean Baptiste Alexandre Strolz

As a cavalry man of the French Revolutionary Army during the War of the First Coalition campaigns of 1793 and 1794, Strolz served with the 1st Régiment de Chasseurs à Chéval in the Armée de la Moselle, fought in the expedition into Germany, notably in the taking of Trier and at the Battle of Arlon.

Luxembourg railway station
