The Partido is also home to several other football teams including Arsenal de Sarandí of the Primera Division Argentina, and lower league teams San Telmo, Dock Sud and Victoriano Arenas.
Hoyos, who holds dual USA-Argentine citizenship, is the third USA player to play in the Argentine top league, after Renato Corsi, who played for Argentinos Juniors and other teams in the 1980s, and Bryan Gerzicich, who played for Arsenal in 2006.
In the first half of 2009, he look for chances in Arsenal de Sarandí and at the end of 2009 he went to Argentino de Rosario, playing in the Primera D, but unfortunately he was not taken into account, so he only trained with the team.
