Artillerigatan is a street in the district of Östermalm in Stockholm, Sweden.
The series took place in and around an apartment in an exclusive neighbourhood in Stockholm, Artillerigatan 35 (in reality Grevgatan 14) and later Styrmansgatan 52 in the same area.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Malmskillnadsgatan (with Artillerigatan in the Östermalm district) was a traditional site for street prostitution in Stockholm), as the isolated location of the street made it completely abandoned after business hours.
