Brynjar Aa has published over a dozen different works, all by established publishing houses, including Aschehoug, and The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
Together with his position in Aschehoug, this meant that Krogvig had a significant impact on many literary careers of the time, including Johan Falkberget, Olav Aukrust, Kristofer Uppdal and Sigurd Christiansen.
William Nygaard, Tom Kristensen and Mia Bull-Gundersen from Aschehoug forlag were also present during the opening to honor Elstad.
She has illustrated several children's books for the publishers Aschehoug, Damm, Samlaget and Gyldendal, among them the novel Tonje Glimmerdal by Maria Parr, a recipient of the Brage Prize.
