Racing at age four, Raintrap was fourth in Englands Ascot Gold Cup then back in France won the Prix Du Carrousel at Evry.
He finished second to Saronicos in the Henry II Stakes at Sandown Racecourse, second to Paean on very soft ground in the Ascot Gold Cup and fifth in the Prix Kergorlay.
