12x12 Original Remixes

It features the same style Talk Talk logo as on History Revisited, the hanging goose from Asides Besides, the butterfly "face" from The Colour of Spring, the canary from The Very Best of Talk Talk, the tree of birds from Spirit of Eden, as well as numerous other animal related images.

Despite there being controversy that Remixed was essentially the same album as 12x12 Original Remixes, both albums actually contain the same songs as on CD1 of Asides Besides.

(New Talk Talk remixes had been released on the 1991 compilation album History Revisited which the band disowned and tried to block the release of).

" Then the disc progresses into B-sides such as "John Cope," originally the B-side for the somewhat unofficial single release of "I Believe in You" from 1988. Single edits of songs such as "Eden" are also included. Disc two does feature one song that had already been available on CD: "My Foolish Friend," which had only appeared on the 1990 retrospective album Natural History, an album which was not included in the 1997 CD remaster campaign.

Introducing... Talk Talk

Allmusic said in their 3/5 review that the album had a "bizarre" track list, but "this will be ideal for fans who want cheap access to some of the group's best B-sides without breaking for the extensive and more expensive Asides Besides.
