Kaltoum Bouaasayriya (born 23 August 1982 in Assa-Zag Province) is a Moroccan athlete.
Protests were also reportedly held in Guelmim and Assa in southern Morocco proper to protest the death and arrest of several Sahrawi youth activists in late April, though Sahrawi sources claiming knowledge of these events did not specify when they took place and their reports could not be immediately verified by independent media or observers.
In September 2013 United States District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Katherine B. Forrest ruled "based on the uncontroverted record evidence, Assa was (and is) a front for Iran's first national bank Bank Melli, and thus a front for the government of Iran" and thus Alavi should forfeit for the property.
In 1988-89, the Emanuel Papaelia Observatory (opened Nov'89) was built containing a 1963 vintage 12" Dall-Kirkham Cassegrain reflecting telescope belonging to the Astronomical Society of South Australia (ASSA), and originally housed at Marryatville High School. In 1996, a second building (the Ingham Family Rooms) was constructed. This contained a 10" Meade LX-200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, and has a roll-off roof.
The Tooperang Hall hosts the Astronomical Society of South Australia (ASSA) on a regular basis where members take advantage of the unique geography of the region which blocks light spill from metropolitan Adelaide to create ideal conditions for astronomy.
