Serj Tankian (of System of a Down), Shooter Jennings, and Perry Farrell (of Jane's Addiction) are featured guests on the album, which was produced by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave).
A noteworthy user of the Whammy is Tom Morello, who with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave used the Whammy to create otherwise impossible effects.
Some artists that recorded songs featured on this album (and show) are Gavin DeGraw, Fall Out Boy, and Audioslave, as well as leukemia survivor Andrew McMahon and his band, Jack's Mannequin.
