There, the Beau Brummels were discovered by prominent San Francisco deejay Tom Donahue, who quickly signed the band to his label, Autumn Records.
In November 2008, he released his first solo album Through These Eyes on Mostly Autumn Records.
The album was recorded at Fairview Studios, in Willerby, Hull, where the band worked with old friend John Spence, engineer of many early Mostly Autumn records.
