Avenue Road

At its southern terminus, it runs between two of Toronto's major hotels, the Park Hyatt (on the northwest corner of Bloor and Avenue Road) and the Four Seasons Hotel.

A few miles north of Toronto's Avenue Road, there is a separate Avenue Road in Richmond Hill, running almost due north of the Toronto one.

According to local legend, Lieutenant Governor John Graves Simcoe was surveying the old town of York and came to a spot on Bloor Street and pointed north.

In Bangalore these courts are housed in a place popularly known as Cauvery Bhavan near State Bank of Mysore circle, close to Avenue Road

St. Paul's-Avenue Road United Church

With church union in 1925, it became St. Paul's United and in 1930 it merged with the nearby Avenue Road (formerly Presbyterian Church) and became St. Paul's-Avenue Road United.
