Edited editions of the Palace of Westminster edition (ranging from 5–15 minutes) are often shown on the BBC Parliament channel, when live coverage of the House of Commons, House of Lords, committees etc. ends early, before the beginning of the next programme.
On 28 March 2009 Donald MacCormick returned to the BBC to present an evening on BBC Parliament.

The BBC broadcast all of its domestic television channels (including BBC HD and the regional variations) from the Astra 2D satellite, except the BBC News Channel and BBC Parliament which broadcast from Astra 2A.
On the evening of 28 June 2009—to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the investiture—BBC Parliament broadcast a repeat of the original BBC TV colour outside broadcast from 1 July 1969, fronted by Cliff Michelmore and Richard Baker.
The committee held two live oral evidence sessions broadcast on BBC Parliament in Portcullis House at the House of Commons, Solomon was described by local press as being a "stand out character that capably extract vital information and bounce back on detailed points".
