The two-car entry included the latest in a line of BMW Art Cars at Le Mans with artist Jeff Koons designing the graphics for the No. 79 car.
Artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and others have designed BMW Art Cars and their work has been reflected in racing cars like the BMW V12 LMR.
In the tradition of the famous BMW Art Cars, one of the two undamaged cars featured a paint job created by artist Jenny Holzer.
