In September 2010, Andrews took part in the Bupa Great Yorkshire Run to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society, Bupa's nominated charity for the 2010 Bupa Great Run Series.
These include the DLA Piper, Rabobank, Oriel Securities, Lloyds Banking Group, BBC, UBS, Citigroup, Allen & Overy, Herbert Smith, BUPA, Shell UK, GSK, National Health Service, Aviva and the University of Surrey.
In November 2001 the BUPA Care Homes Open tournament, an indoor bowls World Bowls Tour competition was held at the venue and filmed live on BBC Two.
At approximately 6.20 pm on 2 October 2007, 26 year old Polish care worker Magda Pniewska was making her way home from her place of work at Manley Court, a care home run by Bupa in New Cross in South East London.
