From 1988–1994, he was the Pistons beat writer for The Detroit News during the Bad Boys era.
After initially collaborating with several American recording artists, he went on to expand his sound amongst the international community, working with several international pop artists, including Alexandra Burke ("Bad Boys"), BoA ("I Did It For Love") and Rainie Yang ("It's Our World").
