In the following table the names usually refer to the founder of the beylik, (where the suffix "...oğulları" means "sons of") with the exception of Bafra which is the name of the capital city of the beylik.
In 1924 the Nemli Zade family a 75 year concession to build a 750mm gauge railway line from Alacam through Bafra, Samsun, Çarşamba to Terme.
Afterwards he went to Istanbul to finish his studies, enrolling in the Sahn Madrasah where he took lessons from Bafra born Ahmet Hamdi.
