Bahçesaray, Vezirköprü, a village in the district of Vezirköprü, Samsun Province
Born in Bahçesaray in 1911, Edige received his early education in Dereköy, near Yalta and graduated from the Russian gymnasium in Yalta.
He died in Bahçesaray, Crimea and was buried in the tomb of the mosque named after him.
Armenians also lived in the district Erciş (Artchesh, Akants) which was in the north of the province, and district Çatak (Shatakh), district Başkale (Bashkaleh) and district Bahçesaray (Moks) in south of the province.
