The regions offer a wealth of mineral deposits and provide strong infrastructure for the assets: the mines are all within proximity to the Trans-Siberian Railway and BAM Railway.
It begins not far from Uda Bay on the Pacific and flows southwest, crossing the Baikal Amur Mainline just west of Fevralsk and reaches the Zeya north of the Trans-Siberian Railway and Blagoveshchensk.
