Balouria (sometimes Baloria or Billawaria) is the name of the branch of Pal dynasty of Chandravanshi, Rajputs, who ruled the modern areas of Basohli, Billawar and Bhaderwah from around 750AD till the 19th-century annexation.
The descendants of the Royal family are known as “Billawaria, Baloria, Balouria or Billauria” all being the modern day spelling variants.
